Absolut null punkt-Metacompund-Their first full length studio album in
nineteen years, the three tracks all clocking in at 11 plus minutes cover
different styles, the first is some pretty mental free jazz, the second and
the albums standout in my view is a mixture of incredible drumming and
spluttering electronics that almost comes across like an incredibly long
silve apples track, and the third is a kind of experimental industrial
track, the album features artwork by stephen o malley of sunn o, october

Cast king-Saw mill man-A truly fascinating story behind this alabama born
blues singer as he is now 79 years old and this is his debut album,
discovered by field recorder matt downer, king recorded a few singles for

downer was advised to seek him out whilst recording in alabama, recorded
straight on to four track tape this is genuinely the real deal almost as if
time stood still and you are back in the early half of the century, one of
the finest traditional country folk albums in years in my opinion, think
johnny cash and townes van zandt jamming with calexico, february

as this then i fear for the moldy peaches as a band, this is some of the
finest anti folk music you will hear all year, dawson has a distinctive
singing style that allows her to fit in more words in each than most people
can fit into a full song, perfect left of centre folk music from a woman
with a true talent for writing clever lyrics, may 2006-Cd-K records-€17.50

this is the flaming lips third album, originally released way back in 1989

minimal house sounds on the plug research label, sounds at times like the
meeting of schneider tm with its heavily processed vocals and the analogue
keyboard sounds of mouse on mars, a much more uptempo affair compared to his
postal service releases but its one of those rare albums that would quite
easily work on both the dancefloor and at home for an evening of electronic

nagler, erlend oye and sonya westcott, august 2006-Cd-Plug research-€17.50

polyphonic spree, the emphasis is on pure fun and entertainment, june
