I have a 7-foot wide beautiful wood desk/chest that weights about 400 pounds. In the place where the chair would go is a converted old LP rack in the rack is my power amp and on top of the rack is the pre-amp. On the top of the desk/chest starting from the right is my Reel to Reel, a two component stack (Yamaha DVD-Audio/Video SACD player, and Nakamich cassette Deck), next Sanyo 25-inch flat screen TV and all the way to the right the Music Hall MMF-5 turntable. Isolation is superb you can dance around the room and it never effects LP playback.
