I own two of the Onzow Zerodust stylus cleaners. These are small, sticky, maybe silicone based pads which stick to the debris found on the stylus. They work great and keep chemicals away from your cartridge. The retail price for these cleaners is $70.

My daughter bought home a "sticky hand" from school as a halloween gift. It's a small silicone based hand shaped thing tethered on line made of the same material. You swing it around and it sticks to everything it touches. All the dust and crud that sticks to it washes off with warm water and soap. Hmmmmm, just like the Zerodust. I went to my local Dollar Store and there in the toy section was a box of 6 for a buck. They came in several colors including clear. Clear is the one you want. I noticed that over time, the color bleads out if it's stuck to anything for a period of time. Anyway, cut a 1 x 1 inch square, stick it to a block of 1 x 1 inch wood and you have a super cheap, super effective stylus cleaner.

Now why didn't I think of this sooner???
